Video Camera Inspection
Our waterproof cameras can extend up to 100 feet into a sewer system and return a clear, real-time video of any issues, and we can pinpoint its exact above ground location with a locating wand. This allows us to identify breaks or offsets in the sewer line, foreign objects, root intrusions, and bellies. A belly is a section of the pipe that does not have the proper backfall or slope. This causes the pipe to retain water even when there is no clog. Video line inspection allows us to see the whole situation and make a thorough, accurate diagnosis from the start.

Isolation Testing
Isolation testing is very similar to static testing, but it only evaluates a certain section of the drain system. Using our flexible inspection camera, we can place our test balloons in various parts of the sewer line to cap off sections, isolating them to test for leaks. Using this method, we can typically pinpoint the exact location of the leak even when we can’t see it with the camera.Isolation testing is very similar to static testing, but it only evaluates a certain section of the drain system. Static Testing
To perform a static test, we cap the main sewer line using inflatable test “balloons” where the line exits the foundation. Then we run water through the sewer system until the water line reaches the level of the slab foundation. We then monitor the water level for approximately 10 minutes. If the water line drops during the observation period, there is a leak somewhere in the sewer pipes below the slab.
