Symptoms of a Gas Leak
There are several signs to look out for if you suspect a gas leak:
Foul Smell
A strong smell of sulfur, similar to the scent of rotten eggs, may be present near gas lines that connect to appliances such as ranges, dryers, fireplaces, and water heaters.
Hissing Sound
You may hear a hissing or whistling sound near the gas lines, or you may see dead vegetation in your yard or near the gas meter. These symptoms could indicate a gas leak and should be addressed immediately.
