Looking Ahead to Fall Fairs in Hickory
Is the summer heat starting to catch up to you? You're not alone, our team is already dreaming of crisp air and everything apple flavored. As we count down the days to cooler weather, here are some of the fall festivals we’re most excited to attend in Catawba Valley and the surrounding areas.
Every fall, more than 25,000 people gather in downtown Lincolnton for this beloved Apple Festival. With plenty of food and craft vendors, live entertainment, and fun for all ages, it's a great way to spend a Saturday with the family. Some of our team members have been attending since they were kids! Jenifer especially loves the friendly atmosphere and how close it is to home.
Also happening on October 18, the Taylorsville Apple Festival offers something for everyone, including a flea market and apple-themed contests. You’ll find handmade crafts, delicious treats, and great local vendors. Kim looks forward to the craft booths every year!
A true end-of-summer tradition, the Hickory Fair features a farmers market, live music, midway rides, and an exhibit hall full of local vendors. Bryce always enjoys the rides and how much there is to see and do. It’s a great way to wrap up the summer before fall kicks in.
Rain or shine, this local market is the perfect place to stock up on fresh produce, homemade goodies, and even natural pet treats. With live music and Hickory's friendly, community feel, it’s a favorite stop for our team. We love chatting with local farmers and trying something new each visit!
Oktoberfest brings a taste of Germany right to Hickory with beer tents, authentic food, crafts, live music, and a KidsFest area. The cooler fall weather and festive vibe make it a team favorite. Tara especially loves browsing the craft booths and sampling all the amazing food vendors.

Lincolnton Apple Festival
